This model is based on the US military's cold weather M-51 overpants, which are often sampled by various brands as a source of inspiration, and has been dyed in-house.
Originally designed as windproof pants, they are made from a tightly woven cotton/nylon material that is densely woven to keep out the wind, giving them a unique texture not found in vintage reproductions.
In addition, the firm texture of the fabric further accentuates the three-dimensional oversized silhouette created by the action pleats at the knees.
At our store, we dye only the cotton thread black, leaving the original color of the nylon thread, resulting in a deep, iridescent color.
As this is deadstock, which is rare these days, the cargo pockets come with tape to stop bleeding, and the original through-type pockets can be used with a bag attached.
