FI-Distressed Double Knee Pants (Ver.Ⅲ)

An original pair of double-knee pants based on iconic American workwear, with sizing and patterns adjusted to suit our own physiques and lifestyles.

While retaining the necessary details, we have addressed the shortcomings we’ve felt in original workwear throughout our years of handling it.

The fabric is a higher-density cotton duck than typically used in workwear. By repeatedly testing how the color and texture emerge, and through a time-consuming dyeing process combined with multiple treatments, we have achieved a balance of vintage-inspired character and comfort.

Rather than recreating items from historic workwear manufacturers, we prioritize finishing the pants with a balanced aesthetic that feels just right for today. We review the patterns and colors with each release, updating them to match current sensibilities.

This version is based on the wide-fit first model we created three years ago, with the silhouette adjusted to be slightly slimmer. While maintaining moderate room around the hips, we have reduced the thigh and hem widths to create a cleaner overall balance.
