FI-Distressed Double Knee Pants (Ver. III)

An original double-knee pant based on iconic American workwear, resized and patterned to better suit our own physiques and lifestyles.

Drawing from our extensive experience handling vintage workwear, we have addressed the shortcomings of the originals while retaining all the essential details.

The fabric is a high-density cotton duck, denser than standard workwear. Through repeated testing of colors and textures, we’ve applied intensive dyeing and multiple treatments to achieve the perfect balance of a vintage aesthetic and comfortable wearability.

Rather than merely replicating historical workwear, our focus is on creating a balanced design that feels just right for today. We review the patterns and colors with every release, updating them to reflect our current sensibilities.

This version is based on the wide-fit silhouette of our first model from three years ago, but slightly slimmed down. While retaining enough room in the hips, we’ve reduced the thigh and leg opening widths for a cleaner, more streamlined balance.
