FI-Distressed Double Knee Pants (Ver.Ⅲ)

An original pair of double-knee pants based on iconic American workwear, with size and pattern adjustments tailored to our own physiques and lifestyle.

Drawing on our experience with numerous workwear pieces, we have compensated for the shortcomings of the original designs while retaining all the essential details.

The fabric used is a cotton duck with a higher density than standard workwear. By repeatedly testing the color and texture, and applying a laborious dyeing and multi-stage treatment process, we have achieved a balance between a vintage aesthetic and comfortable wearability.

Rather than attempting to replicate what historical workwear manufacturers have already made, we focus on finishing these pants with a balance that feels just right for today. We review the patterns and colors with each release, updating them to align with our current sensibilities.

For this version, we used the wide-fit base from our first model produced three years ago, but modified the silhouette to be slightly slimmer. While keeping moderate room around the hips, we have narrowed the thigh and hem widths to create an overall clean and balanced look.
