This model is a bleached version of the US military's cold weather M-51 overpants, which are often sampled by various brands as a source of inspiration.
Originally designed as windproof pants, they are made from a tightly woven cotton/nylon material that is densely woven to keep out the wind, giving them a unique texture not found in vintage reproductions.
In addition, the firm texture of the fabric further accentuates the three-dimensional oversized silhouette created by the action pleats at the knees.
We use a special bleaching process to create a clean beige color that is different from OD.
As this is deadstock, which is rare these days, the cargo pockets come with tape to stop bleeding, and the original through-type pockets can be used with a bag attached.
