1 PM - Cream / Village PM

The signature model 1PM from Village PM, a skate footwear brand from Paris.

Inspired by approach shoes used in climbing, the design is distinct from conventional skate shoes. The climbing rubber wrapped around the foot and the asymmetrical form create a snug fit that conforms to the foot.

The streamlined construction from the toe to the entire foot provides an even and stable hold. With a heel tab for easy on and off, and an outsole that combines durability and flexibility, it naturally adapts to everyday use and active situations.

In contrast to the recent skate footwear market, where reinterpreting archive silhouettes was mainstream, they propose a new approach that combines a contemporary aesthetic with practical features like climbing rubber. Inspired by "Afternoons that last a lifetime," they aim to evoke the experience of skating so intently that one finds themselves in uncharted territory.
