The fabric is a higher density cotton duck than the original workwear brand. We can't compete with a manufacturer that has been making clothes for 130 years, and there's no point in making the same thing. We've created pants that are just right for wearing now.

Based on classic painter pants, the material and details have not been changed much, but the balance around the waist and hips has been adjusted and the legs have been changed to a wide style not found in the original.

The wash processing has faded the discoloration, and the tough 12oz material gives it a texture very similar to a certain double knee.

These pants complement what we have felt are lacking in the original workwear, based on our experience working with many pieces of workwear, while retaining the necessary details, achieving a vintage feel and comfort.
