This is one of two photobooks featuring Polaroids by Dutch-born, US-based photographer Ari Marcopoulos, focusing on New York.
The Polaroids, which had been forgotten in a corner of the studio for a long time, were discovered when the studio moved in 2018.
The Polaroids taken in the early 1990s, a time when skateboarding culture was at its peak, reflect the artist's characteristic love, consideration, and relaxed rapport with his subjects.
Set primarily in Brooklyn Banks, New York, the book features some of the most famous skaters of this generation, including Justin Pierce, Harold Hunter, Maurice Key, and Jeff Pang.
