The LOWA x AFFXWRKS collaboration is an attempt to bring tactical boots developed for military and professional use into the AFFX context.
LOWA's "Task Force Series" is a high-performance model designed for military and police use. Among them, the "Zephyr" series is highly durable and maneuverable, and has been adopted by the US Special Forces and the German Armed Forces.
For this collaboration, AFFXWRKS has reconstructed these professional-grade LOWA shoes, adding minimalist details like shoelace covers to create a silhouette that fits in with everyday wear while retaining the military functionality.

AFFX WRKS was founded by four members, Kiko Kostadinov, Taro Ray, Stephen Mann, and Michael Kopelman, as a project of the internet radio station Know Wave.
With the concept of "New Utility," the company continues to pursue the ideal form of traditional workwear while experimentally exploring how to combine it with practicality for everyday wear.
The brand has now evolved into a team centered around Taro Ray, and they offer items that not only incorporate elements of workwear, but also elements of the music scene.
